Michigan Nursing Home Employee Arrested and Charging With Abusing a Patient.

Twenty-eight-year-old William Hill has recently beencriminally charged with two counts of Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult after he allegedly abused one of his patients. Hill was an employee at the Whitehall Healthcare Center of Novi, Michigan. Officials become concerned after Thomas Johns, one of Hill’s patients, developed multiple bruises on his face, chin, chest, back and torso. Accoridng to wxyz.com, Johns suffers from dimentia and had only been at Whitehall for five days before the bruises appeared.

The local police conducted an investigation and found sufficient evidence to arrest Hill. A court document states that Hill “confessed to punching, pushing, sitting on Johns five times during his shift of March 11, 2015 when he was agitated with Johns.” If convicted, Hill could spend two years in prison.
