A shooting at a Florida nursing home on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 has left one person dead and another injured.
The fatal shooting occurred on Wednesday afternoon at the Life Care Center Nursing Home in Orange Park, Florida.
Authorities are still investigating the wrongful death incident, but believe it involved a husband and wife in their 70s.
The man was killed and the woman suffered life-threatening personal injuries. The names of the couple have not yet been released.
Nursing home officials successfully contained the situation and did not require an evacuation of the building.
