The biggest issue, with so many cases of nursing home abuse being reported, is that for each case reported, several more go unreported. Nursing home abuse is particularly troublesome because, after placing our loved ones in nursing homes, we expect them to be well taken care of. Still, the terrible truth remains that nursing home abuse occurs each and every day in nursing homes across the country. Victims, or the families of victims, may not know what to do when abuse occurs; that is why victims should rely on an experienced nursing home abuse personal injury attorney here at the Law Offices of Gilbert R. Hoy, Jr. and Affiliates to help guide them through this complicated litigation process.
An 86 year-old Bibb County, Alabama man is facing a felony sex charge amid allegations of misconduct at the nursing home where he lives. Centreville, Alabama police arrested Napoleon Worrell on Tuesday. He is charged with first-degree sex abuse, a felony, and indecent exposure, a misdemeanor. His bond is set at $2,800, court records show.
